- 2 cups rolled oats
- 4 cups water or milk
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 2 medium bananas
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- 1. In a medium saucepan, bring water or milk to a boil.
- 2. Once boiling, stir in the rolled oats and reduce heat to medium.
- 3. Cook the oats for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are soft.
- 4. While the oats are cooking, slice the bananas and set aside.
- 5. Once the oatmeal is cooked, remove from heat and mix in peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and cinnamon. Top with sliced bananas before serving.
