- 12 ounces ziti pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- 3. In a large bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- 4. In a large baking dish, spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom, then layer half of the cooked ziti, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of marinara sauce and the remaining mozzarella on top.
