Cuisine: Hungarian-inspired
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 1 large English cucumber
- 4 medium Lemon
- 1 medium Lime
- 0.5 cup Fresh mint leaves
- 1 inch piece Fresh ginger
- 0.5 medium Jalapeño pepper
- 0.25 cup Honey
- 4 cups Cold water
- 2 cups Ice cubes

Instructions
- 1. Wash and slice the cucumber (reserve a few slices for garnish). Peel and roughly chop the ginger. Thinly slice the jalapeño (remove seeds for less heat).
- 2. Juice the lemons and lime into a large pitcher. Add honey and salt; stir until dissolved.
- 3. In a blender, combine cucumber, ginger, jalapeño, mint, and 2 cups cold water. Blend until smooth.
- 4. Pour cucumber mixture through a fine mesh strainer into the pitcher. Press with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible.
- 5. Add remaining 2 cups water and ice cubes to the pitcher. Stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness or spice if needed.
- 6. Serve over ice, garnished with reserved cucumber slices and extra mint leaves.
