- 12 jumbo shells jumbo pasta shells
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, half of the shredded mozzarella, and the egg. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- 3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish to prevent sticking.
- 4. Stuff each cooked pasta shell with the spinach and ricotta mixture, then place them in the baking dish in a single layer.
- 5. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
