Ingredients
- 8 ounces whole wheat spaghetti
- 1 cup shelled edamame
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the whole wheat spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- 2. In the last 3 minutes of cooking the spaghetti, add the shelled edamame to the pot to cook.
- 3. While the pasta and edamame are cooking, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey in a small bowl.
- 4. Once the spaghetti and edamame are cooked, drain them and return to the pot. Pour the sauce over the noodles and edamame, tossing to combine.
- 5. Serve immediately, garnishing with sesame seeds or sliced green onions if desired.
